Pastor Mike Parks

Senior Pastor

Pastor Mike came to know Christ at the young age of 5 years old. Being raised the son of a Baptist pastor along with his years of attending Mt. Hope Bible Camp and Adams County’s Bible Quiz helped give him a firm foundation in the Word of God. He began playing music in church at 10 years old playing acoustic guitar as his mom and dad led the congregation in singing. At 11 years old he began playing for the Young’s a traveling Southern Gospel group that feature children singing and praising God. He traveled with the Young’s for 5 years. At age 12, his parents were introduced to the Baptism of the Holy Spirit. This exposed Pastor to the power of God witnessing the miraculous through signs and wonders. At age 20, Pastor Mike received the baptism of the Holy Spirit and felt the call to preach God’s Word. His first assignment was youth pastor at Praise & Worship Christian Center he worked in that office for 10 years. His experience in working with youth opened the door for him to become the Superintendent of Wilson Children’s Home. There, he oversaw the care of abused, neglected and homeless children. He worked in that capacity for 4 ½ years while helping his wife with being the children’s pastors of Life Impact Church.

Pastor Mike felt the call to go into full time ministry in June of 2010 accepting the role of Executive Pastor of Life Impact Church. There Pastor Mike’s passion for helping those in our community grew stronger than it ever had.

In September of 2012, God opened the door for Pastor Mike to found Church 180.

“God has done miraculous things here at Church 180 I am so humbled and excited to be a part of what the Father is doing here. Lives are being changed, bodies are being healed, and hearts are being mended. Praise be to God!” – Pastor Mike Parks
